System 1 Pipe Markers are made from rigid PVC vinyl and are printed with UV resistant inks. These Pipe ID Markers are available as Strap On or Wrap Around Pipe Markers. For pipe diameters 3/4 in. thru 6 in., use Wrap Around Pipe Markers (styles A, B, C, D, E); these Pipe Labels are simply uncoiled and automatically recoil around the pipe. They are also supplied with a 1/2 in. strip of adhesive that only needs to be released when there is a constant pipe temperature of 120° F or more. For pipe diameters of 6 in. or larger, use Strap On Markers (styles F, G, H). These markers are installed using nylon ties or stainless steel strapping. The legend is printed in UV resistant ink and laminated between two layers of polyester, creating an extremely durable Pipe Label. These durable Pipe Markers are available as flat markers that strap on or wrap around. For pipe diameters 1/2 in. thru 7-7/8 in., use Wrap Around Pipe Markers (styles 4A, 4B, 4E, 4F); these markers will wrap around pipes and are secured by a clear adhesive strip. For pipe diameters 8 in. or larger, use strap on Pipe Markers (styles 4G, 4H). These labels are laminated to a heat and chemical resistant carrier that is then strapped on to the pipe with stainless steel strapping. Strapping is sold separately.
